At Out of China, we work without reservations. We know this can raise questions, especially if it’s your first time visiting us.
Many guests ask what the best time to come is or when it’s easiest to find a table. That’s why we’ve prepared this short guide to help you plan your visit to our gluten-free Asian restaurant in Barcelona.
Our goal is to make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Weeknight Dinners
Dinner service from Tuesday to Thursday is usually quite relaxed.
Most evenings there is no problem finding a table.
The only exception may be larger groups. If you are more than 8 people, we recommend coming as early as possible, around 8:00 PM, so that we can more easily seat everyone together.
At Out of China, we do not manage waiting lists in advance or take reservations, so tables are always assigned in order of arrival.
Weekend Lunch: Our Busiest Time
The busiest services of the week are usually Saturday and Sunday at lunchtime.
On many days the restaurant fills up within 20–30 minutes after opening, especially during busier seasons.
For this reason, we recommend:
Arriving at opening time, particularly if your group is larger than 5 people.
If you cannot arrive before 1:30 PM, it is sometimes better to come later, around 2:30–3:00 PM.
Why?
When we first open, many guests arrive at the same time. If the restaurant fills up quickly, the first people on the waiting list may experience a longer wait, because all tables are occupied at once. Later in the service, as tables start to free up, the rotation becomes faster.
